Artifact: Weebly Blog
My Weebly Blog was created during my experience in EDS program at Kennesaw State University from Fall 2015 until Spring 2017. This artifact is a collection of my reflections, various assignments from courses, and many of the assignments from the ITEC 7030 class, Internet Tools in the Classroom. The standards include reflections on various assignments and experiences as well. The blog and the standards clearly illustrate my ability to regularly evaluate and reflect on professional practice and disposition to improve and strengthen their ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences.
These artifacts demonstrate my mastery of the Standard of Candidate Professional Growth and Development. The blog exhibits my ability to ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences as an instructional technology coordinator. Each blog entry contains continued professional growth illustrated at the end of each semester and a reflection on my growth.. The evidence provided for each standard demonstrates my ability to regularly evaluate and reflect on their professional practice and dispositions. Each standard also includes a reflection on the artifact that supports the standard.
From completing this artifact, I learned that previous work can be utilized down the road. That is why it is vital to be deliberate and thorough with assignments because they may be used at a later date. I would have written my reflections differently for my artifacts. My suggestion would be to track progress and reflections throughout the course, instead of at the end of every semester.
This artifact has enhanced faculty development. The impact of this artifact is evident in professional development that I offer because I continuously reflect and modify based on experience. It can be assessed in improved professional development training sessions that I deliver.
